Your Virtual Private Server is running one of the following versions of the UNIX operating system (O/S).

• FreeBSD UNIX
• Solaris UNIX (SunOS)

uname

To find out which O/S your Virtual Private Servers is running, connect to it via \ Telnet or SSH and run the uname command.
